New battery technology developed at The University of Toledo could mean a longer charge for a lower price.

Dr. Mubenga created this technology while working at the University of Toledo.  After surviving a childhood near-death experience, caused by lack of electricity at the hospital in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in Africa, she dedicated her life to bringing energy to areas in need.

Her new Battery Equalization Technology can make electricity storage for utility scale solar power and green energy applications cost less.  The battery management technology is also useful in automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications.
